Default So what else can I do to get a bit more out of my rig.

Ok I am totally new to this, my husband has started me off in a really good place, but I want more. I really want to beat his rig. Here are the stats of what I am switching to(in two days).

E8400 @ 3.85ghz 1.41vcore
Gigabyte EP35
2x1gb Gskill HZ's
EVGA 8800GTS 320mb
Sony DVD-RW
Zalman 9700
Western Digital 160gb sata 16mb

He says that basically the vcore is at the limits, and that stability is going away when he put it over the current 3.85ghz. Just wondering if there is anything else I can do, maybe board voltages or something(I am still very new to this) so I can beat him?

Right now your GPU is massively bottlenecking your system compared to your CPU.
Also, that VCore seems a bit high for a 45nm chip but I am not positive.
