Default Connect my PC to my HDTV

So what type of cables do I need to connect my PC to my HDTV?

I have a VGA dongle and a VGA input in the TV, but how good of a quality is VGA? I recall reading somewhere that the quality between VGA, DVI, and HDMI was virtually nil.

The only difference is HDMI also transmits audio....and DVI can trasmit resolutions that are not standard.

...........

My other question is the issue of sending Full HD (blu-ray 1080p) over the cable. I know we need HDMI to send this stuff over.... so does the DVI to HDMI cable count?

I think that vga is more fuzzy in places on the screen than a DVI cable, but pretty much the same really.

and my guess is that a DVI to HDMI cable would support Full HD as its only 1920×1080 which works fine on pc monitors, which means a dvi cable can handle that res.
