Firstly i would recommend going for a Q9300 Quad core instead of your dual core

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835233012

I'd also get that or the OCZ Vendetta since there performence is the same as the True.

For the sound card i would recommend going with the Asus

im taking your suggestion for the cpu, but I am going to up it and get the q450
and i was thinking of doing something different with the heatsink, so I'll do that as well,
but is the sound card as good as the claro?

Yeah, I would definatly get the Asus card since it can emulate the Creative EAX. I bet the Omega is a good card but if i were to be buying a sound card i would either get an x-fi or the Asus card

Uh, are you gaming with this rig? Games aren't even threaded for quads yet, that E8400 will do quite well for you. I am terribly jealous that you are getting a 4870. Also, get the 620W from Corsair, your GPU needs more amps than the 750 can give. Other than that, I like it.

I can't find anything wrong with it.

The only thing I could say is to get 2 120x38mm fans for the TRUE, and a lapping kit. Those 3 fans are for the case, right?

Edit: Looking at your motherboard, I would recommend a x38 or x48 board so you won't get a bottleneck if you add a second 4870 in the future.
