Default Turn on computer with keyboard

Is there a way to set up some keystrokes on your system to have it turn on with some keystrokes?

I think that's kinda impossible because the computer has to be on to supply power for the keyboard.

No. However, some keyboards (Mostly old ones from the 90s.) have power, and sleep buttons on them.

my keyboard has a sleep button, but for some reason my computer can't wake up from it

but I believe in the bios for my intel 915p board it had boot-on-keyboard and boot-on-mouse options, i definitely saw it in some bios

sum newer bioses have options where u can turn on the power via mouse click, or keyboard by pressing ctrl-esc, ctrl, or space bar. the problem is that in the case of most keyboards, ur power supply wud have to remain on standby all the time(i.e. do not turn off the switch if it has one)

in any event i think he means using a password like system to power on the system. as opposed to using those basic keystrokes, put in ur own personal set of keystokes to tuen on the system, a good idea but one that isn't available at present to my knowledge.
