Default boot up troubles

ok some background info

i recently changed processor hdd and took out a video card in my mobo so i can give it to my parents and then reformat so they have a decent computer.

the only problem is when i put in everything and pluged it in, i hit the switch and the screen is black.... i dunno why

i guessing the old processor was a p4 2.6ghz and the new one is a celly d at 2.8ghz. might this be a FSB issue??

oh its also socket 478 (old i know..)
