Hey guys, for those of you who are experienced in overclocking this board i kinda need some advice, thanks.
__________________Ok so I got the latest bios, Iflashed a custom one with ITK changing only: Enabled power sloop FSB frequency overide to 1064 Vcore to 1.35v vdimm to 1.9 Memory to 800mhz with a 4-4-4-12 timings So thats set, so now as i've read all I do is change the burn in host percentage to increase my FSB right? And I wan't to get to 3Ghz so as i've read from people such as eva2000(http://i4memory.com/f55/semi-officia...ard-info-2804/) All I have to do is get to 25% burn in host to get a 333mhz fsb, so i'm asuming that It would be unwise to just set it to 25% at first, so I was thinking in increments of say 6% and then run stress test and if they pass go back and increase more. But I set it to 6% and it didnt boot... ![]() Did I mess up something??? Thanks for all your guy's help

can you increase your vdimm to 2.0? I would try that, and is there a way to unlink your memory from your fsb or to change dividers, your overclock may be overclocking your ram too.

If you can lock your ram at 800 that would be good, I just wasnt sure if your ram was overclocking with your cpu, if its linked it will if you dont change the multiplier or manually set the frequency.

Humm I think your absolutly right! Thanks man cuz I just relized that would be the case - the ram is overclocking with the fsb so therfore if I increased it by 6% then my ram would be at 424mhz at a 2:3(800mhz) divider! No wonder it wouldn't boot.
__________________Alright i'm going to set my ram to 667 divider wich would be 333mhz real. Therfore once I reach 25% it would only be at 416mhz. sweet. Oh and there is no way to lock the ram so only ↑↑↑↑ the case. And I don't wish to change the default multiplyer. Thanks again

No problem man, I figured it was memory related, glad we could catch the problem.
