OS: He already has a un-opened copy of Vista Home Premium 64-Bit...don't ask why...

EDIT:

Damn, I just found this for $5.00 more...

I would drop the case with the included PSU and get a cheaper case and a high quality PSU.

How about this:
$224 (Coupon EMCAJBCAB) - Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Dual-Core Processor
_______________($50MIR) - Thermaltake W0106RU 700W Power Supply
$37 ($10MIR) - XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 Rifle CPU Cooler
$120 - (Coupon EMCAJAHAD) - ASUS P5Q Pro P45 Intel Motherboard
$93 ($30MIR) - OCZ DDR2-1000 Desktop Memory
(2X) $170 (Coupon VGA8815) ($30MIR) - POWERCOLOR Radeon HD 4850 512MB Video Card
$85 - Western Digital WD6400AAKS 640GB Hard Drive
$80 (FS using coupon EMCAJAHCA) - COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKN1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail

Note that Newegg only allows one coupon per order, so you will have to make two separate orders for the video cards, one for the motherboard, and another for the case.

Also don't forget your 5.5% cashback from MS Live.

If you have any inquiries regarding my choices, don't hesitate to ask.

Looks good. A good 450w psu should be fine. The CM Real Power Pro 550w is a good psu so you are ready to go.

agreed, one thing you should buy is a good psu. 450 watts would have been enough for what you got. So the 550 should be plenty
