I might encourage you to look at the VisionTek 4870 x2 as it comes with a lifetime warranty. I used their warranty a few years back on a card that was 4 years old and got the latest card on the market in place of it. Great service!

Oh. I also have to ask what the timeframe you are looking to buy and build your system is? For the money you are sinking into it you could get a very beefy i7 in late october.

Nice budget!
I recommend you buy the Corsair DDR3 2133 kit from Corsair. With that mobo you can overclock the memory as high as 2450Mhz!!!

I already have a 30" Samsung 305t from a previous build
![]() but i think im going to wait until q4 to get a nehalem (Corei7) setup. what do you guys suggest? i cant wait but i know i will regret this later

I think that if you are bent on spending around $3k you might as well wait a couple months and get the latest processor since it is being billed as the biggest change in a number of years.
