And the Xigmatek is not an "easy install". Installing the fan alone is a nightmare according to the reviews.
Yes, at LOW resolution. Not at higher resolutions. Even if you are playing at low resolutions, the FPS will be so high, it just won't make a difference.

I don't know what reviews you have been reading, because I haven't heard any issues with installation from any users, nor in the reviews. Pushpins are easy, if not, there is something wrong with you... They are truly fool proof, and difficult to get wrong.

http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...er-review.html

That one comes to mind, but I remember researching about that cooler a lot, and there were other complaints. I also contacted members who had this cooler already, and they said it was a pain to install. And the pushpins are not the difficult part of the installation. Look I'm not getting a cooler like that if I don't need to.

I'm not trying to get 4.6Ghz+ or anything crazy, I just want decent temperatures and a good overclock, which I know I can easily get from the F7P.

I was however considering the Tuniq Tower 120. Would that be a good?

From experience, the Tuniq is a nice cooler. It might be quite a tight fit in an Antec though (managed to barely get it in the right way in a 900). If you choose a CM, it will fit easily.

Also consider a Hyper 212. One of the best coolers on the market, yet is really cheap http://www.pcnextday.co.uk/products/...Code=1209-2080

While not uber easy to install, it is a steal at that price.

Meh, relatively. You might want someone else to hold the motherboard up while you screw it in. BUT, because it simply gets screwed in, the chances of you installing it wrongly is zero.

as i said, OCUK is not good with RMAs, charges through the nose for delivery, and price gouges the living daylights out of their products

Their RMA service is improving a lot, and the prices are alright.

For the cooler installation: http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/coo...2_4.html#sect0

No I meant the Tuniq Tower 120. Also, is that cooler that you linked me to any good?

The Tuniq is quite easy to install. You put on the backplate, and screw the cooler down using the included thumbscrews. The Hyper 212 is slightly more difficult, but it is worth the extra hassle, as it cools slightly better and is much cheaper. Also, if you have big hands, the Tuniq might be a bit more difficult with the motherboard heatsinks in the way. Both of them are favourites of mine, as I have used both and they are no fail coolers.

Do you think this power supply would be better?
