Ok, so I'm trying to find out the voltage of my 6600...when people say their 6600 is a 1.2 volts stock, is that idle or at load?
__________________and the second question - why does CPU-Z show my CPU multiplier as 6 and the clock at 1.6ghz (where it is really 9x and 2.4ghz)? Easily answered I'm guessing.

First, your stock voltage is know as VID. Run CoreTemp and see what the VID is. But make sure C1E and speedstep are disabled in your bios first.
Thats why the multi drops to 6x. it is a power saving feature. Run Prime95 and watch it jump back up to 9x. Also, make sure the multi is at 9x when running coretemp as their are two actual VIDs programmed into the chip. if the 6x multi is in effect, the lower (not stock) will be displayed.
