I'm not sure if this is the right section, but I couldn't find a more fitting one. Please feel free to move.
__________________The other day I was using my computer and out of nowhere it just turned off. I tried restarting it and the power light always turns on, but the screen is not showing anything and the computer does not seem to boot at all. Anyone know what the problem could be? My friend thought that it could be the power supply, but I still have the same problem after replacing it. All fans (heatsink) are working. Just figured that someone could narrow the problem down more before I throw more money at it...

So nothing is happening on the screen? Do the fans in your case turn on? Do the fans on your graphics cards turn on (would give a slight indication of them not working if they don't)?

OK so all the fans are spinning and you're getting power but nothing boots, umm. Ok, try rearranging the power cables from your case to your motherboard, try flipping them upside down but plug them in the same place.

First thing is to reset CMOS. If that doesn't work, make sure you chack anything you have changed. I will say, that PSU does seem a little low for SLI. You may want to try with one GFX card.
If all that fails, try to POST with CPU, one stick of RAM, one GFX card only.

Try running the rig caseless, put the mobo on it's box with the static bag between the mobo and the box.
If it runs that way that means there's something wrong with the case,a short maybe(it happened to me a lot before). Oh and btw you have to turn it on by touching the two PWR pins at the same time with a metallic object.

Try booting really stripped down, unplug your opticals, hard drives, one of your video cards, and run with just one stick of RAM.

Thanks for the replies guys. Before buying the new PSU, I've tried the following:

like i said, take the power connector from the case and plug it in the opposite way. Worth a try.
