Am I happy with it? Yes.

However, would I like to get a new processor/RAM down the line? Yes, I could go for a Q6600 and 4gb of ram.

All I need is a 500GB sata drive, 9850 BE, and a 4850.

Then I'll be good for years.

Happy? Not really. What I thought was a good deal ona motherboard is costing me more than the entire rig did at first.

Will I be? Sure, after another $400 is sunk into a system that was supposed to stay under $1,000.

I'm supremely happy with my rig. Those 4870 X2 guys (Marin ) can enjoy their AA and 1920x1200 resolutions. I'm fine with my 8800GT

It does what I want it to do well enough. I don't touch Crysis, or Far Cry 2 anymore, so all the games I play run flawlessly on the highest possible settings.

An E8500, and HD4870 1gb wouldn't hurt though.
