Okay, so what I'm getting is a new DVD drive, a TRUE with a Sunon 120mmx38mm fan, some Scythe Slip Stream fans, A HD4850 an ASUS P5Q Deluxe and a Samsung Spinpoint F1 1Tb Hard Drive.

I hate saying this to people, but 750i FTW board (The eVGA 750i FTW uses the 780i NB, and runs well, though you're gonna want a better fan, but Northbridge is cooler than even a lot of X-boards after that, also solid caps = <3, though I have seen the MSI board and ASUS ones, HOLY CRAP are they bad, and maybe where this misconception is from) is perhaps the best board I've used, please don't knock it if you haven't tried it. If you play at a reasonably higher resolution (1680x1050 or higher), it's about as good as a single GTX280 and 4870. Especially if you don't have a major choice. For gaming that E8300 should do perfectly fine, unless you really plan on using tons and tons of multi-core apps... which there are, but is certainly not for gaming is going to make a world of difference.

The only other problem with the board, is well 4 SATA slots. That's about it.

I wouldn't get the DVD drive and the fans. Maybe just 1 fan for your TRUE than spend the rest of your money on some more ram. 2GB is kind of less on vista ultimate. AND in your first post you mentioned you multitask a lot so you will benefit a lot more with more RAM.

You can also get http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...oducts_id=7524 instead of the P5Q Deluxe to save more money for RAM.
