Default Build for Mom

Building a rig for my mom, tryin to keep it pretty cheap. While im sure this will last her quite a while. What do you guys think would you change anything? She wont be using it for much more than family pictures/mild gaming/email/web browsing/movies maybe.

forget the E8400 and grab an E5200 and a cheaper mobo like a ds3l

Nice and cheap......and yet powerful. But you could down it to a E7200 or a E5200 to save more money. Plus that mobo is a bit overboard for a mom......unless she likes OCing......

Yeah I went with that mobo because I plan on OC'in it for her, and messing around because I havent used the wolfsdale duals yet. So it will also be somethin for me to do when im over there
Is that psu enough? I imagine its more than enough..

i'm just saying you can get 3.8 on a 5200 on a ds3l for about $100 less

e5200 and a P35-ds3l. that would work great for your mum. she wont need that much power and might not even need it overclocked as simple is always sweat with the rentz

That's a nice computer, just as nice as mine. She's web surfing? Like everyone else said, get a E5200, maybe a cheaper video card, and maybe a 19" wide screen.
