Default new computer is acting oddd.

i burned cd's with my old compaq with XP and they played fine in my car stereo. i burn them the EXACT SAME way in vista on my new computer and for some reason, they just get ejected.

This probably doesn't go here maybe it belongs in OS help.

But anyways, what program are you using to burn the files? Are you just dragging and dropping them into the folder, or are you using windows media player to burn? Or a third party program such as nero?

sorry, i couldn't find the right thread, i figured this would be good enough. i have used both itunes and wmp. i have also tried drag and drop. everytime, the cd just gets rejected

maybe your burning as WMA and your cd only plays tracks ...

but i have burned cd's the exact same way. (they had been mp3 and itunes re-incodes them to aac) and they played before
