This is my sister's computer (the 4600c)...I decided to try and fix it, so I reattached the Northbridge Heatsink and put in a new hard drive...
__________________Thing is the stupid computer won't start...It's always giving me "Alert! Chipset Heat Sink not detected. System Halted!" I took off the heatsink and put on some thermal paste (not AS5, just some crap that came with my Volcano 12)...And It's still giving me an error... What should I do?

It is a Fan that is unpluged some where. Either the fan on the heatsink or the case fan.
__________________Look around in the case really good you will find a empty fan header some where.

The powersupply will have a External fan connector too, that needs pluged into the motherboard somewhere.

There are no more unused cables coming from the power supply nor are there any open spots to connect cables on the mobo.
__________________I'm thinking its the fan, but the fan is sorta attached to the heatsink (the cable coming off the fan is inside this metal piece on the side of heatsink)...so I'm guessing I have to buy a whole new hsf.... I dont even know what socket this mobo is.
