Don't buy that GTX280 or HD4870X2 if you're not going to upgrade that 19" monitor, it'll just be a waste of money. They perform best with a 24" and above. Get a GTX260 or HD4870 instead.

I believe the ramapage extreme mobo is does not follow standard ATX specs
can anyone confirm this, I think its EATX, will a ATX power supply fit in a EATX case ? and i belive the motherbaord has a 8 pin connector better go check the psu i decided on O-o

Thanks for all your help i now have a core i7 920 @3.2ghz still needs a bit of work i did have some pics but when i went to post them i noticed a thread about cable management i had a quick peek and ended up doing all my wiring again lol . When i take some new pics i will post them

I don't think the raptor drives are worth it- the WD Caviar black drives come very close to preformance.

Get 4 seagate 7200.11 32MB Cache Hard drives and hook them up in raid 0- you'llbe getting a little bit more than 300mb/s read.
