GigaByte Mobo

Reason is I'm hoping to build my own rig after christmas and I am getting a good deal on this coupled with a Q6600

GigaByte is a reputable company, so a board from them will be solid and they tend to use really good parts. So if you don't tend to overclock, then go with that value package since the Q6600 is a good CPU.

Now, if you intend to overclock, then I would suggest reading some reviews to see if that particular MOBO is a good overclocker.

Since GigaByte and the Q6600 are good components and your getting them at a value price then basically, it comes down to if you want to overclock or not and if that MOBO is a good overclocker. If you don't intend on overclocking, then I'd go with it since it supports the 775 socket and DDR2 RAM!

I wouldn't go with a nVidia chipset... but that's just me I prefer Asus, Evga, MSI

I do intend on overclocking,not alot,but yes I will be overclocking

You can do better with a P35 or P45 chipset. Gigabyte is pretty good especially for the money.
