that makes sense, i mean, if i did digital media and other things related, i probably could fill up 1TB quick, id say get the 1TB, and maybe on his birthday you could get another for him to have a raid 1 setup, to make sure nothing is lost.

Hmmmmmmm......So does that build I posted look alright? I was a bit iffy on the motherboard but the reviews on newegg were good.

I would get 2 of the 500gb's... Security footage can be lost. But pictures are worth alot more often times, So if you have the pics on both drives your good, unless your house burns down.
