Default Problem with heavy games after o/c

Hi,

I've just upgraded my pc as follow :

Asus P5B Deluxe (no update...)
e8400
2 x 2GB RAM Patriot 8500
8800GTX (no upgrade)

My pc runs stable (OCCT) at 4.23 GHz and 1.35v, but when I play heavy games like Call of Duty 4 or FSX I have a terrible lag and bad sound. Other games or softs are running well.

Do you have any idea what could be wrong ?
Thanks for your help

What resolution and what drivers are you using?

Also, did you have the same problem before you started OC/ing.

no problem before.

When I use auto settings (no o/c) these games run fine. When i start to raise the frequency the problem suddenly appear.
My previous CPU (E6600) was also o/c whithout any trouble.
