Default intel reformat driver problems

Ok i have a intel D946GZIS Motherboard with a 2.8 GHZ processor. I just reformatted it and am having problems getting everything to work. I do not have the drivers cd anymore because i lost it. The computer has nothing on. Just fresh reformat. The sound, network, chipset, usb, and another driver have not been installed. I cant put drivers on a thumb drive because the computer wont recognize it. So i have to put the drivers on a cd. I have went through about 10 cd's trying to get the driver but every driver i use the computer says...

"The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of the file, verify its integrity, and try again."

Every driver does that to me. Does anyone have any clue what could be wrong? I am running Windows XP Pro 32bit. Just a 30GB HD. about 512MB Ram. Thanks!

You can get your mobo's chipset drivers and such here.

We're going to need a bit more specific information from your, like a full list of your computer's components, in order to help you find drivers for everything else.

Go to Intel downloads and find you motherboard drivers, save them to a folder then open them from the folder(unzip) so your system can find them.

Find the "setup.exe" file in the files you downloaded. Run that and it will let you install the chipset drivers for your motherboard.

You don't need to burn them onto a CD in order to install those drivers.

Then i put the cd in the other computer that was just recently formatted and try running the drivers. the .exe files. all of them say that the file is corrupt.

When you get the files downloaded right click the files and click unzip so the new system can read them.

Chuck D.

Then burn them after you have unzipped them.
