Im building a new rig and would like to know if.
__________________This card: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...3&Sku=P450-264 Will fit. This Motherboard: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...-750ISLI-Q6700 I know that the mobo cant use any DDR3 mem but what about the card? Any other limitations that this mobo might have would be important too. This is only my second build and im on a tight budget so I cant screw up.

yes the card will fit the mobo. the problem is will it fit your case. thats a big mobo make sure it all will fit in your case. i have that mobo and a q6600. i think i may have to RMA my board as even with the current bios it's being pretty fail when i try and overclock. things like BIOS freezing up when settings are changed. that board supports 1066 ram so i'd pick up some decent ram with it. i ran memtest on mine and it was fine so i think i just got a not to great board. runs perfectly ok at stock everything. no problems.
what kind of CPU are you getting? are you going with the q6700? that combo price seems quite expensive. you could get that mobo and a q6600 for $340 buying seperatley off new egg. and don't forget about combos as well. http://www.newegg.com/Special/Combo....n=search&item= if your not going to run SLI I wouldn't recommend this board for overclocking. i'd go with a intel northbridge instead.

Well the motherboard is 9.6" in width
![]() and the card its self is 10.5" long Quote:
![]() So all in all I think your good, yes the card is gonna hang over the board by about an inch so just make sure that there isn't any metal in the way after the board ends and you should be good. And even with having that card there the SATA ports still look easily accessible with the setup that they have with them.

The question still remains what brand and model is his computer case?
Some cases just won't take anything longer than 9.6". Others will take full-sized graphics boards.
