New to Overclock.net
|
Im planing on a new build/ atom tough awesome can be sluggish sometimes haha, I can spend around 500 to 600 $ & ill be spending some more if need be. Need a new all rounder / was thinkin of the good ol lga775 till phenom showed up and with core i7, 'Well it just makes things very simple now dosent it haha. Ok two things before we start, I dont upgrade often, here is what all i need / cpu / mobo / ram / gfx (720p Gaming) / psu. Am wondering with that budget whats the best possible build we can get. pls help guys.

well I'd say i7 is out of the question considering that ram and a motherboard for an i7 would pretty much take your whole budget! I'd go for a q9550 or E8400 (dual core to save money!) and an ATi 4870, you wouldnt need any more than a 4870 considering your gaming at quite a low resolution.After that just get the best ram and motherboard you can afford with whatevers left over.
