Haha.. very nice! You went a little heavier than me on the PSU that's for sure!

A few questions:

What kind of RAM is that underneath the Corsair RAM Fans, and how many RAM banks does that RAM cooler cover - all 6 ? Think it would fit with my G.Skill PI's??

It's nice seeing my 'vision' much more 'hooked up' than mine currently... I'm going to post some pics soon when I have the chance... Too bad I hear the new CM V10 is supposed to be sick, I ordered a bit too soon on that one... Maybe and upgrade for down the road

Damn good rig for 14.

Btw, how in the hell do you guys have the exact same setup going? And with all that power, where are the GPUs?

<edit> it's totally coincidence, but we're friends now... </edit>

I'm actually undecided right now on the GPU...

Pretty much have my mind made up on the rest of it more or less.

Right now i'm leaning towards the GTX 285 SSC, then getting a second and dual-SLI'ing it up.

Problem is the 4870x2's are so much more affordable right now and the thought of two of them in Crossfire sounds dirty, i'm just not sure if my HX1000w would handle two x2's properly at this point...

Still a few days until I order the gfx anyway, but in the meantime JTS has me now convinced to paint the inside of my HAF932 black... Pics coming soon...

The HX will handle any GPU setup you have

Its actually the same components as the 1300w PSUs with 990watts going to the 12V rail alone.

MANY MANY MANY OEM builders have multiple GPU/CPU combos with this PSU.

/edit

Many reviews will have you believe that they call it a 1000watt PSU due to the fact that they keep 85% efficiency at full load. It will actually do more

Well, just how much money for GPUs do we have to work with here?

Cool!

It might end up being dual 4870x2's then after all!

Oh i forgot to mention, the 2 SAS drives on RAID 0 are basically just to run the main system... I'll be adding a Velociraptor or some big SATA for storage.

I was also leaning towards the Mushkin XP3 6gb kit of RAM for some timing increases, but it's about $100 more than the G.Skill RAM right now, so its almost a no-brainer right now.

The 920 should be here any day now too...
