Well guys im in a perdicament and i dont know would be best...... so here it is
When income taxes come around ill be able to upgrade to a new MOBO and a power supply. My thing is i have an AMD 1.8 GHz in the closet (mobo fried) and i also have a Dell Laptop insperion Intel Mobile 2.0 GHz the set-up would include 1 cd-rw drive 1 dvd-rw drive and the possibility of 3 (or more HDD all are a lil older 1. 40 gig 1. 80 gig and i think its a 20 gig not sure but i wanna expand) i just got a X800 pro. So i need to know which processor would be better to use the amd or the mobile, now ive heard that the mobiles will oc better cuz they can withstand heat better (o i also might add a new and better cooling fan instead of stock) ill also have 2 sticks of 256mb ram now ive got the old ram instead of the 184 pin (256's). So the big ? is which Prossesor should i use and what PSU would be good for the setup? 1 last and final thing ill be on a slight budget of around 150 possibly more possibly less TIA for all the help guys cuz i know this forum kicks ass like no other!
