I know this may sound like a noob question, but my computer just freezes when it has been on for 20 hours or more while it is under load. Is this a result of my poor northbridge heatsink?

It usually means a poor OC stability. google prime95 and run a stress test. We have an FAQ here on how to use it.

Well, I havent had any problems with it freezing untill a couple of days ago, Super PI runs fine, but I have yet to run Prime95.

Well I think he was thinking 20 hours of straight gaming/ 20 hours of Prime. If you get 10 hours of Prime95 totally stable you should be good to go, but yeah lower your OC because that is the problem. Most likely you have just taken a bit out of your CPU or RAM so it won't go quite as high now (being as stable as it use to)

I said that it freezes when it has been ON for 20 hours, not 20 hours of straight gaming.
