Default LAg shot every 2 seconds
HI
My bros comp:
2.4ghz northowood
1.25Gb(2x512) (2x128)
Evga 6600gt

ANd he gets lag host every 2 seconds on game?fps are 60 and up ans he get lag shots evry 2 seconds>>?
Plz help i got him a new 6600gt for he plays fine every game and he cant

Those are two very CPU/GPU taxing games... What are the settings? I'd turn everything to low and off... then slowly start adding 'goodies' 'n such back.

hmm even when seing a video.Yes all drivers uptaded and im runing vista mod. i will try changing it.

even with low i get lag shot.when i play a video i get lag shots

Try turning off object dock, it's that thing on top with all the icons

Also try turning off AI in Catalyst controll panel if you have it.

no its a 6600gt.Hey no it didnt worked i uninstalled vista but still get lag shots

Maybe something is running in the background (eg: folding, itunes...azureus), it doesn't sound like a hardware issue, but a memory management/software issue, as 60fps sounds good, you just get blurps here and there.

Try uninstalling any spyware...turn off any unneeded background processes.
