I have $700 to spend on upgrades next week. Not really sure what I should get. I was thinking of getting a GTX 295 or 4870x2.

What would you guys reccomend I get with $700? (PC specs in sig)

Get a PCI-E Adaptor and 4GB of RAM and a GTX 295.

Or you could get a Corsair 750TX or 650TX power supply.

4GB RAM is absolutely critical, get that first above everything else.
Nothing will help if that meager 2gb is going to hold you back.

Don't upgrade your CPU however, not that an extra 0.4 - 0.5Ghz oc is going to make a noticeable difference.

Get an Asus p5q motherboard (overclocks very well for a cheap price) with a 4870x2, or gtx 295, and there you should be set.

Sell the board, ram and GPU. Get Gigabyte EP45-UD3P or Asus P5Q-e, 2x2GB kit, GTX275/4890 and save the rest money.
