Default ~$2300 Gaming/HTPC build

This is my current build for my friend. Case, monitor have not yet been picked. Need RAID. Advice is always good.

Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor Model BX80601920 - Retail - $280
Foxconn BloodRage GTI LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail - $230
mushkin 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model 998691 - Retail - $180
Western Digital RE3 WD1002FBYS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive - OEM - $159.99x2 = $319.98 (RAID0 THIS, NEED CONTROLLER)
SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100269VXL Radeon HD 4890 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail - $239.99x2 = $479.98
CORSAIR CMPSU-850HX 850W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Retail - $199.99
Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 120mm SSO CPU Cooler - Retail - $79.99
LG Black LG Blu-ray/HD DVD-ROM & 16X DVD±R DVD Burner SATA Model GGC-H20L - OEM - $99.99
LG Black SATA DVD-ROM Drive Model DH16NS10 - OEM - $15.99

pretotal - $1,885.89

Also need:
CASE, maybe CM Cosmos? - ~$200
Musashi VGA Cooler - $40x2 = $80 (not on newegg T_T)
Scythe Slipstreams (number depends on case)
Monitor WITH HDMI, around 24", size compromise between normal comp use and home theater screen- ~$280
RAID controller - $???
Fan controller (probably rheobus) - $15
Northbridge/chipset cooling. is it necessary and how much $$?

It's probably overbudget depending on what case and monitor are going to be used.

Want the stamp of approval from OCN for the pretotal section, and suggestions on the 'also need' section.

Thanks guys.

im no expert here my suggestion

get the megahalems instead of the noctua
get the toxic instead of the vapor-x
get s-flex instead of slipstreams
you probaly wont need vga cooling but im not sure.

The megehalems is amazing!!! If you looking for a OP rig put a delta fan, somthing like a 5200 RPM

Fan wise i always like deltas, there pretty much server fans so there pretty good.

You won't need NB/SB cooling.

Most boards raid controllers are usually ok, just check on some reviews or something.

Case wise, its w/e you client likes. But maybe something like the Sntec 1200 HAF, Cosmo S, The scout or w/e its called, and maybe a the nzxt panzerbox

Whats the difference between toxic and vapor besides price?
I don't think newegg has megahalems. Probably can save on shipping just getting hte noctua. Does it perform better than the noctua?

Yes it beats the true. You can find it easily, just google it with buy or something.

The Megahelems is better than the TRUE in benchmarks, but it's sure hard to find, constantly being out of stock everywhere. If you can find it, get it.
