New laptop artifacting!?!
So, i was trying to play tf2 on my new laptop, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834117857. I was playing at 1920x1080 and to no surprise my fps was at about 30 and and i am not sure if this is normal but it was stuttering and freezing every 10 or so min. So, i put the res down to 1280 and i got 60 fps, but the walls and the water were purple and sometimes orange and it still was freezing. I know my laptop doesn't have much for gaming but shouldn't my fps just be low? is this normal? or is my gpu artifacting and do I need to RMA my laptop?

Did you alt+tab out the the game? Steam engine games will sometimes show purple textures when you alt+tab out.

thank you, i did a little while before that, and i have never really used steam so i didn't know. thanks for the info.
