Question ATI 4890 or Nvidia 275GTX

I keep flipping as far as whether I want to build another AMD build or go Core i7 and I put a Core i7 build together for 1200 however I need some opinions and preferably some first hand experiences on whether to go with a 275GTX or 4890. They are both about the same price and from the reviews Ive seen the 4890 just barely beats out the 275GTX but wouldn't it be better to go with a Physx card?

I think you should go with the 4890 personally.

I just got rid of my GTX275 yesterday. So far, I have not really gained or lost any performance difference. However, I do notice that my 4890 is louder and runs hotter. I kinda like the 4890 a lil better though, IDK why.

even though i'm a nvidia fanboy i would have to say go with the 4890 because you will get more bang for your buck that way. to beat out the 4890 with a nvidia card you would have spend more and get either a gtx280 or gtx285. personally, if you are waiting to build this rig i would just wait and save up for one of the new dx11 cards that are comming soon.

275 if you fold.
4890 if you don't.

I use a lot of NVIDIA cards and ATI...I fold and I game but I have to say the 4890 is pretty sweet. I tried both cards and overall liked the 4890 a little better versus the 275 though both are fairly equal. Either way you go you can't go wrong...I say go with the the 4890.
