"After reading on overclock.net, a forum I am active on, about the disgraceful way this representative handled a customer's RMA, I can honestly say I will never buy an EVGA product again (if only out of fear that I will recieve the poor customer service he did.).

After reading the transcript of their phone conversation & email's, several potential customers expressed their anger and stated they would now look elsewhere for products they would otherwise buy from you.

This is your potential fanbase you are alienating. But according to this "Mike F" that is not important, as overclock.net is "just a forum". That is true, albeit a forum with 96,000 members - a great deal of them potential customers.

http://www.overclock.net/intel-gener...-my-rma-4.html

Please cast your eyes over that for evidence.

Even IF the customer was in the wrong, the apparent complete lack of professionalism displayed by the customer service rep has definitely put me off buying EVGA again, and I'm sure there are others in a similar mindframe.

Pick your game up, EVGA."

After reading this thread I went to the customer feedback page, selected Mike F, gave him a rating of 1 and left that message!

RAAAGGEE..

Wow, this seriously sucks!
I'm glad I'm going with an XFX board, but I'll still be sure to make proper pictures of all the hardware I buy, just in case anything similar to this may happen with other companies!

I always get XFX, they are the best of both worlds and always have the lowest prices, sometimes they are lower than the likes of Gainward here in the Uk.

Same, but I'd still feel bad for him, even though he seems to be a butthole of the type that would make Goatse jealous.
