I just got off the phone with EVGA 6:00PM EST (roughly)
The conversation started off with him saying all of your pictures were too blurry for anyone to see or tell.

Then the conversation begun an argument stating that since I did not say that I could see any physical damage, but yet my CPU was not booting all four cores correctly that something had to be wrong with the CPU socket. Then, he proceeded to tell me that when he looked back through the client notes, that he could not find a place that said there was physical damage to the board. I then said, so a RAM slot that does not work is not physical damage?
After that argument, he said, "you can file a claim with UPS" stating that the pins got bent. I was like, okay, and how would I do that. "Well, let me look back here. Oh. You used our shipping claim." Then promptly skipped to another subject as to avoid the answer on how I can file a claim.

So, then I said, that is fine, I will pay, however I will let overclock.net know to never purchase an EVGA product again for their shoddy customer service tactics. "That is fine" then proceeded to tell me that overclock.net's opinion or view about EVGA products did not matter, because it is soley that, a forum. I told him that overclock.net was his customer base and telling us that it is our opinion is just going to ruin their reputation. He encouraged me to go ahead and post a note saying for any member to not buy EVGA.

So, as a staff from EVGA has told me to do:

PLEASE DO NOT EVER BUY ANOTHER EVGA PRODUCT AGAIN.

If he asks , tell him ryanlusk will never buy an EVGA product.
They sound like real ***holes who think they're better than the consumers.

I'm down for an eVGA boycott. I've never bought from them before, but what they said is ridiculous.

I thought the number 1 golden epic ultra main uber super important essential rule of running a business is that the customer is always right? You can't just insult your customers like that.
