Wow EVGA has gone to crap....

2 years ago I RMAed a OBVIOUSLY volt modded GPU and they replaced it no questions asked, even sent me back a better card. My most recent RMA was about 6 months ago of my 680i and it too went off without a hitch

I'm really disappointed to see more and more of these EVGA RMA horror stories

EVGA graphics cards have always been pricey when compared to their competitors. I've always opted to go for cheaper value for money brands like Gainward, Asus, and BFG. Asus only offer a 3 year warranty, compared to the 10 year one offered by EVGA, but its still plenty long enough for me and I have never in 10 years been refused an RMA.

I always assumed the extra premium on EVGA products was due to the RMA coverage and customer support. However, why pay more for a longer warranty if EVGA aren't even going to honour it?

Did the board come with those bent pins, or was it just defective? Just wondering because I've had them ship me DOA boards before, but never one with bent pins.

This is exactly why I will NEVER buy another POS from EVGA again...
I have a 750i ftw and of course cant overclock for ****. Random crashes at STOCK speeds. Tech support wont help, they havent even answered me and it has been 5 days. Not to mention all the BS ive been hearing about when RMA. This is the first and last thing i will ever buy from them...

The ONLY reason i bought the ***** thing in the first place was because: 1) i didnt pay full price and 2) the guy said it was a good mobo and 3) i failed to realize nvidia chipsets never work the way they should for me...

Oh now that's just stupid. How the hell does that happen, yet no one catches it? It takes more than a little brush to bend them too. I've hit a couple on accident with the tip of my finger and they didn't bend.

This is seriously making me not want to buy any of their products anymore.

You almost have to purposely bend them

I see where you are coming from but you have to think of it from their prospective. "Some computer newbie just jammed his cpu in the socket upside down and is now trying to RMA it after breaking it." You have pics but they are very inconclusive.

Even with all that EVGA should have fixed/replaced the mobo with no hassle.

that is why you dont accept the package untill you inspect it. If **** is broken refuse to sign and then call them up and tell them about it.

There is a reason that my GPU's are BFG... you want customer support they will give it to you and give you some candy too. Bye bye EVGA, they are just like Tiger Direct... they used to be all about the customer, but now it is just them just trying to squeeze every cent out of us (the higher premium prices for supposed customer service, RMA rejections left and right...)

have you thought about going onto EVGA's forum and throwing a fit there?
