Default help build new rig

Ok I need some help. I'm good at putting computers together but am horrible at choosing parts and if they are compatible or not. Anyways I was looking for you guys to pick parts for me.
Parts I DON'T NEED are
Mouse/Keyboard
Sound card
OS
I can choose my own case
Don't think I need another quad core because I have one in my current rig and I hear that they arnt good for gaming and gaming is what I will be doing.

If you look at my Rig now I basically just want parts that will upgrade every part I have now.
I don't have a price limit or anything but nothing in the $1000+ range.
Thanks a lot. Sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forums. Ive posted this in other areas on this site but got no help.

this is a mobo/CPU/PSU/RAM/GPU choices. i hope you like them.

also who told you quad is bad for gaming?? he is so mistaken btw.

anyway it's for 950 shipped with 35$ MIR so you can get your self a good 100-120$ case and you are still on budget.

intel discontinued the Q9300, and the Q9400 costs the SAME as the Q9550, so get the q9550.
