Nice rundown of the stress testing process there TwoCables. I haven't had a chance to look at LinX yet, but i have used Intel Burn Test (which I have heard is essentially the same thing).
HighOC, don't worry too much about voiding the warranty on your motherboard, I know heaps of people on here who have been able to RMA boards which have been used for amazing overclocks. Also, I have never had troubles with my mobo overclocking. That said, you are overclocking you have to be aware of the risks that are associated with it.

Hmm.. aren't those temperates a little too hot? Or can 45nm tech handle that kind of heat?
__________________I know for example that my Q6600 shouldn't be at 40c on idle.
