Sorry man, but it's basically pointless unless you have stress tested it for longer than 1 minute.

Nice rundown of the stress testing process there TwoCables. I haven't had a chance to look at LinX yet, but i have used Intel Burn Test (which I have heard is essentially the same thing).

HighOC, don't worry too much about voiding the warranty on your motherboard, I know heaps of people on here who have been able to RMA boards which have been used for amazing overclocks. Also, I have never had troubles with my mobo overclocking.

That said, you are overclocking you have to be aware of the risks that are associated with it.

Well, all linpack testers use the same linpack test, but I've found LinX to be the very best possible GUI for it so far. It takes ALL of the guesswork out of linpack testing, and it provides the most control over it too. LinX just makes Linpack testing fun and easy for me.

Hmm.. aren't those temperates a little too hot? Or can 45nm tech handle that kind of heat?

I know for example that my Q6600 shouldn't be at 40c on idle.
