My goal is to have a new rig by xmas. I'm looking at i7, but not sure. I'll only be able to put about $800 to $1000 into it, but need to keep it as low as I can get.

I'm going to try and get my boss to let me do my work on this rig from now on to. I'm a video editor that uses FCP, but I'm gonna try my hand at Premier and see if it'll work out fine for me and him.

Anyways, all I am looking for is an i7 rig, capable of running at least 4 monitors.

And I wanna try and keep all ordering to TankGuys.com. Heard some good things about them, so wanna just show my support and order from em. But if I can get it cheaper from Newegg or something, then post it.

Was just going to suggest this as well. I7 is kind of expensive for your price range. Usually I recommend I7 for $1200 and up builds.
