Same thing with optimised deafaults, the only time It posts is after I clear the CMOS. If I even go into the bios it won't post until I clear again. Also it won't post when I reboot from windows

It might not like the default settings the memory tries to boot with. Try setting a lot of stuff manually, but keep the CPU at stock.

Yeah i tried exactly that still no go. Ah well you guys have been great, thanks for all the help. So now what new motherboard shall i get? Preferably one that's good for Overclockers in Training like me and crossfire is a must. Any suggestions?
