Default Is My PSU Enough?

Hi Guys,
I have a 500W Delux 39A. Will it be enough to run a 4850X2? 3D Mark runs fine but Crysis, after for about 15-30 minutes all settings maxed out, It gets stuck. If it is something wrong with the PSU, please recomend me a compatible PSU.

Thanks in advance.

You will need at least a 650W PSU for the 4850X2.

Yeah I wouldnt even turn the system on with that PSU and an HD4850X2, for fear that there would be fire.

Thanks guys. This thing also runs really hot at load. Wil that be a fault? 650W are really hard to find over here. I mean a branded one. Also very expensive. Asus 750W is ~190$. I will look for a 650W PSU.

If the PSU really has 39A on the 12V rail it should be enough, but do you also notice freezing in game?

EDIT: get another PSU, bad brand

I want to add that have you tried without overclocked CPU? Unstable system might lead to freeze. Otherwise, it is definitely your PSU.

Yes it freezes. I tested the CPU with Intel Burn Test and no errors. After 15 minutes Crysis the PSU is so hot that i can bearly touch it.

Your PSU is fully loading all the time you playing crysis which means that it's heating a lot and that probably causes these freezing issues.
