Like BSOD's? what the hey is wrong with your system lol you seem to be having bad luck, that's okay we've all been down that road once. I would say you should google what your volts SHOULD be at, google i7 920 stock voltage or something cause you have a good PSU, OCZ is a very good brand name, but i say google the voltages cause your MB is crappy IMO, im just not a big fan of gigabyte im no expert tho. When i had my old motherboard, XFX nforce 750a SLI it didn't have the right volts for my CPU, stock should have been 1.3v but it ran at 1.368, so im thinking you have the same problem but backward, so your volts are too low. Other than that i would say it MIGHT be W7, That's the only thing i can say, cause my buddy has an i7 920 on and ASUS P6T Deluxe, and we have both Vista 64 bit (we pirated from the same boot disk). So check up on your volts, problems with your MB, W7 problems. Its also a good idea to run 20 threads of IBt on MAX and well as Memtest.....but i really have no idea

P.S. take note of what it says at the BSOD and take a look at this webpage http://www.maximumpc.com/article/fea...survival_guide they explain what the different error codes mean, however it is for XP SP3, but i don't see why Microsuck would change anything in terms of error code between OS's so check if this can help you GL

No It's freezing and the sound spazzes out, It's not BSOD I did check voltages last night but Intel only tell me about the VID Voltage range .80v - 1.375 But i don't see "VID" in the BIOS.

I'm a complete novice when it comes to the BIOS, I have been searching on the Intel website for a while but can't seem to be able to find anything with any relevance.

Maybe I have a faulty mobo or something, Something is not right though.

You seem to have the EXACT problem as I used to have. Complete system freeze, sound spazzing.

I figured it was the motherboard, and it's been ordered. I'm waiting for my motherboard to arrive now (should come anytime now), my cpu few days later (I decided to upgrade to i7 while I'm at it).

Here is the thread I had back then: http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/5247...0-minutes.html

Might be interesting for you to read trough. I even tested another cpu and another graphics card. Nothing seemed to solve it.

I'll let you know if it works after the the new mobo.

Thanks for that Boebi, Took a while to read your post, My system is doing the exact same thing yours was, I also think it could be my mobo now, My card is fine, I ran that on my other computer. My power supply is fine, My hard drives are fine, My dvd drive s fine. Cpu stress testing I ran for about 7 hours without crashing, It sometimes crashes just browsing the internet, And like you, I dislike Vista now I can use Win7 and I don't think it's a problem with win7, Plus i can game for hours and it won't crash And I'm gaming at 1920x1080 So Maybe it is my mobo, I just want to try and "make sure it is my mobo" before RMA'n it because thats going to take forever heh.

Yea i would say it was your mobo next, i have anwersed many a question when the problem was giga****e, IMO get a trusted name, ASUS is a prime example, i know 5 other people that use ASUS and no problems yet.
Sorry you had so many problems, P6T deluxe

Gigabyte isn't exactly a bad choice though, If you get a working board they're great. I think I'm going to try and send my mobo back and get a new one. I just don't like to RMA it just incase it's not faulty, But i can't see what else it is. I've not been enjoying this build like I should be, All i have been doing is testing, Giving my self a big headache, I'm not the most advanced pc user as you can tell. Just hope they let me RMA it or get a replacement.
