The sound spazzing, maybe reinstall your soundcard drivers, and when does this happen, during intense usage? cause i got the exact same problem today, i cut the side of my case and replaced it with plexiglass, but the vents on the side r gone and my new fans haven't come in yet, so i only have 1 120mm exhaust and 1 200mm intake, plus it was hot....moral of the story...i was stress testing to see if it remained stable (while listening to music) then POOF! my music was all over the place, so much so i had to take off my headphones, and my system wouldn't respond, so i restarted and was cool. But is your CPU overheating maybe causing instablity? check your temps maybe

P.S. when i get off this 3G connection and get a DSL, ill post a thread about how i installed the window

Probably already been said w/in the last 5 pages, but have you tried a different PSU? If the voltages drop too low or fluctuate too much it'll freeze. Could be bad caps somewhere too. Possibly on the mobo near the socket.

Are you running any anti-virus? It could be a conflict between anti-virus and Windows 7.

Hopefully your problem ends when you get a new mobo.

I hope gigabyte accepts his RMA and doesn't just run a few quick tests and send it back saying it's fine.
