some local phoenix CLer offered me $450 for my rig, when i turned him down he was like i can build a better system for $500.

Sir, where are you buying your parts from lol? i7 + 4890 is around $400, OS is about 80 if you buy new.

i7 920 = $280 on Newegg
cheapest 4890 = $185 before 15 rebate
x64 Vista OEM = $170

280+185+170= $635 -15 rebate = $620. I guessed 600... I'd say I was right on the money!!!!

Win 7 would add more money..

First, I wouldn't buy your chip @ 75C either. I trust CL sellers/buyers about as much as I trust Osama Bin Laden. Personally, I dont run my chip 24/7 above 58C and only under benching (OCCT) would I see 70+ temps on stock setup. Some people are very skepticalabout CPU purchases (and should be), so that' s not my main gripe with the dude.

However, with his second remark, tell him that if he can get such a good deal, to go buy his stuff somewhere else. You can part out your rig and make lots of money. You dont need that clown.

I had some fool email me about my 750i and Q6600 I had for sale for 250$ for both, he said for 250$ he can build a whole computer.

WOW -_- so I said "ok go build it, but it will be a total failure of a PC"

Also after specifically saying NO TRADES in the listing 2 times, someone still emailed and said he had a 32" LCD hell trade for the mobo and CPU AND he said if it came with an OS -___- ////facepalm////
