http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115037 this is a good cpu. But it is a little expensive. Just wonedering what parts do you have already? Also I suggest you go am3. Its cheaper and I am guessing this comp wont be used for much so yeah am3 is good but a nice dual-core would be good if you are going with intel.

get something with a nicely laid out bios like a gigabyte 7** and an athlon that you will never kill. plenty of room for upgrades on the amd side and less likely you will screw up.

Also depending on how much you want to overclock you would probably want a aftermarket cpu cooler.

I'd say get an i5 mobo, cpu, and hsf and use the rest of the parts for this build. They aren't any harder to oc(see links) than what you have now.Have you tried oc'ing with your current setup?

You could also sell your current cpu, mobo, and hsf to recoup some of the cost and put that towards a new graphics card.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128359 Id say this mobo is very good. This cpu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115036 and low voltage ocz ram that can go 1200+. Also a 4770 for a gpu if you need one.

Any ASUS mobo is nice to OC on along with an intel CPU. AMD's are also good with OCing, but less people use them - so less support if something goes wrong.
