Ok, so today I replaced my motherboard, cpu, ram, and psu. All of that stuff appears to be in good, working condition. After some time spent on the computer I finally got my hdd reinstalled with vista. When I first press the power button the bios will pop up and say no drive and flash once or twice and then boot into windows without me ever pressing anything. Also my boot times are close to a minute long. Need some help guys. Thanks.

If i'm correct, check your SATA cables. They might be loose.

Other than that the HDD is acting normal?
Have you tried clearing CMOS?

Yeah other than that everything if flawless. Just checked the unplugged the sata cable and re-plugged it into another spot. Will trying clearing the CMOS and then fire it back up and see if either one of those worked.

If that doesn't get you anywhere perhaps you could try a different SATA device so that you can pin point whether its a problem with the motherboard/BIOS or the HDD itself.

That didn't fix it. It flashes "no drive" twice and then moves on to verifying pool data and then loads on up. I don't have another sata to try.

have you gone into the bios and set the boot priority?
have you tried moving the h/d to a different sata channel?

What about your boot sequence?
__________________Edit: lol, as a bunch of people at once have the same thought... Maybe your boot sequence it trying to load from a device with no MFT and no OS, and then moving on to your drive with Vista installed. It's worth looking at in your BIOS settings.
