Default SSD intel x25m, Memory slowly being used up.what the ???

I installed a SSD Intel 80GB hard drive. I also have a WD 750GB secondary drive. I installed my Vista 64 bit onto the SSD Intel 80GB drive to keep Vista working quicker. But it seems as im using my computer, NOT SAVING things onto the SSD, the memory seems to be slowly disappearing , i used to have like 40GB FREE space, and now its like 37, and im not saving stuff onto the drive, how can i stop this from happening ?

whats causing it ?

and when i do save something, i usually save it to my WD 750GB , and NOT the SSD !!!!

In another few months , my SSD space will be gone, what the ???

also, once the SSD is full, i know theres something about not being able to delete things normally , like you would on a typical HDD, anyone have input on this ?
how can i delete things from my SSD without ruining the integrity of teh drive & its speed ?
thanks guys.

Did you install programs there? Either Vista consume more hard disk space gradually (saved setting, temporary internet data, etc) or instalation of software (eh, I forgot, other application may consume main OS space too!).
About integrity, not so sure, but SSD are more sensitive to writing file (means that the more you write, the more it consumed) to it, that's what I know...

OP, did you do anything about the "System Restore" function? I find this takes up a lot of HDD space. If you dont use the system restore function, disable it to gain more HDD space back.

Deleting files from an SSD is the same as any HDD.

Don't worry about the trim function, that's a low-level hardware process that automatically occurs in the background to speed up some types of disk activity.

You'll want to update the bois before you install Win7 (or at least check your X-25 bios is the one with trim) last I checked Intel weren't releasing it until Win7 was released.
