Default WD Velociraptor

What is the difference between 150GB and 300GB? I can't pay for 300GB version, it is away too expensive for me. 150GB is best possible size for me, no more need.

Here it is:

Is this fast then? It must be a lot faster than my old hard drive.

WD1500?

Why 150GB version isn't WD3000 like 300GB version is? Will it lose at performance?

I know you can't order from Newegg, but this drive is just as fast and cheaper. The only downside is the loss in transient response, and initial latency. You can make up for it with proper caching setup with the OS.

It is fast enough for me, and I will get a velociraptor, but now i need to hurry to school, so, 150gb is very good? bye all

Wrong place to make your thread, this is about Intel... Not Hard Drives.
