He won't need a 750w PSU unless he decides to go xfire/sli. But that'd be spending more money, and most likely won't be needed.
If he buys this rig, he will buy a second 260 in a month or so.

I talked to him yesterday and he decided he wants to stay intel/nvidia since that is the way I went with my computer in my sig.

I'm going to get back on newegg now and check out that antec psu. He bumped up the budget a hundred dollars after talking with him so that I could pick a better hard drive and psu.

edit: the 750w is a tad much... the extra 100w from the 650w is needed for 2 gtx 260's?

The 640GB has an extra platter, i think.
Only $5 more for the extra 140GB

dont forget about combos either...currently searching for some

He can bump up the CPU to a Q9550 for $15 more with this combo.

I meant with both the combos it would be cheaper.
Q9550 + GTX 260 & WD 640GB + CM 690 = $535 after rebate
Q9400, GTX 260, WD 500GB, Xclio Windtunnel = $530 AR

Gl with the build anyway!

I finished the computer today. Runs nicely. I really like the case, it was easy to work with. Looks like it will run everything he wants it to. Thanks.
