Alright. Here goes.
For maximum stable OC, 920 vs 965 probably isn't going to make a difference. I draw the line at 1.45V for 24/7 and that'll get me 4.2GHz 24/7 stable and 4.4GHz stable enough to game and bench. The 965 will make a huge difference for when you're benching, though. Currently, I'm not limited by my chip. I'm limited by my board. The unlocked multi on the 965 allows you to scale beyond the limits of the motherboard. It also allows you to keep your memory at a decent speed. For me to get my chip to 4.8 and 4.9 for some SPI runs, my memory will either be very fast with loose timings or low with tight timings. With the ability to set your BCLK at 186 and the multi at 26x, you could get 4.836GHz at stock memory speed. That's awesome. So, if you plan to do some fun benching in the future and you're not hurting for cash, I'd hold on to the 965. I sure wish I had one!

Hey, sorry about my previous post guys. i wasn't trying to say that it was impossible, but i always like to think of things in terms of the average 100% safe.
I know that you CAN hit 4.7 ghz on water, but is it at a point that you can call it safe for 24/7 use? that is the point i was trying to make. Also, i was taking into account that it is very rare to find a chip that will do that. not trying to offend anyone. :-)

I mena my 4.4 and 4.2 overclock settings are stable and ;safe; but I wouldnt leave it at 4.4 for over a few hours, I prolly shouldnt leave it at my 4.2 1.42v core but whatever it only gets hot during prime/linx
