Default Desktop will not power on

My computer was acting weird and wouldn't recover from hibernation a few days ago.

Then when I restarted it, everything would go as usual. It would power up all my fans and everything looked like it was working, but nothing on my screens.

So I reset the cmos and removed the battery for a few minutes and that got the computer to boot. I did this a couple time because the same thing happened two days in a row.

Then it just worked fine for a few days. I was working in 3ds max doing some modeling yesterday and I decided to restart. The same thing happened again, but this time nothing happens when I hit the power button.

What do you think it is? PSU? Motherboard?

I need to figure this out soon because I need this computer for school. This computer is on pretty much all the time so I guess I should have expected something to fail.

PS or perhaps the MB's battery is weak and can't properly assist the CMOS in storing the data.

Yeah it could be the battery, I wasn't really thinking about it. I'm going to change it out asap.
