Well about a month ago I started getting a random mouse lag and when I had audio playing it would also make a lagging/skipping sound. It would occur under any circumstance load or no load. I thought it was just random driver issues and I thought a clean format would fix it. Well lets just say about 6 formats later testing the raid then non raid on both drives and 32 bit all coming up with the same problem. I also took out my wireless card and tried different ram/mouse and keyboard/vid card. At this point I would be relieved to just hear that its a bad m.b. so I can just be done with it.
Thanks LJ

Check your cpu voltages.
Mess about with them until you get no crackling. Trust me it works, yet not alot of people could help you with this as I had to put up with it for around a year until I found out because nobody else knew.

Try uninstalling your audio card driver and pull the card then
see if your mouse issues are still present. Seems you have done nearly everything else already. Nice system BTW, and good luck.
